David E. Lindeman, DDS, MS, PC
Dr. David E. Lindeman has practiced orthodontics in the Littleton area for over 20 years. He grew up in Littleton, where he received an education through the Littleton Public School District. He attended Euclid Middle School and Heritage High School.
Dr. Lindeman attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1982. He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986 and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1988 from the University of Nebraska Medical School College of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Lindeman set up a private practice in Centennial. He also worked in his father’s Littleton orthodontic practice; making him a second-generation orthodontist!
Dr. Lindeman has been awarded the designation of Top Orthodontist in 5280 Magazine’s “Denver’s Top Dentists.” This designation is based on a vote by peers from the local dental community. He received this recognition twice consecutively in 2004 and 2008, and was recently awarded the designation again for 2009.
Dr. Lindeman keeps current with the latest advances in orthodontics with active memberships in several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Colorado Dental Association. He is a member of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists and a board member of the locally based Roth Williams Study Group. He is also a founding member of Colorado Orthodontists for Occlusion.
Dr. Lindeman pursues continuing education annually through the AAO, the Roth Williams group and the William Arnett Center. He has also completed a two-year advanced occlusion and orthodontic program given by the Roth Williams/AEO Group.
Experienced in both research and teaching, Dr. Lindeman is a published author. During his studies at UNL, he conducted research on the effect of prostaglandins on bone and intraoral mandibular pressure. He is also trained and certified in Invisalign® (invisible braces).
Because commitment to the community is very important to Dr. Lindeman, he provides orthodontics for children with special needs through several Denver organizations. He also supports many local fundraising efforts.
Dr. Lindeman, his wife Lynn, and their daughter Sydney are outdoor enthusiasts. They enjoy many activities together including hiking, skiing, sailing and fly-fishing, as well as photography, archery and scuba diving.
